"...All the wonderful pieces together encompass a beautiful harmonic atmosphere, often with melancholy, and, from time to time, with sadness, although never veering into a depressive direction. No, as paradoxical as it might sound, in this sadness lies a bit of happiness. The voice of our protagonist is uncommon: partly it goes in the direction mentioned above (Nancy Griffith) then it swings a bit in the direction of Dolly Parton. Ultimately, however, she proves to be a voice all her own along with a soft, fragile expression. This all adds up to highly emotional songs that are filled with harmony and beautiful shine. In the end, enriched with a wonderful string quartet, we are sent off the record with music that inspires dreaming and relaxation."
